Nanlite FC500B Bi-Color LED Spotlight

The FC-500B is a high-output bi-colour spotlight: no colour effects, just clean white light from warm tungsten to daylight, with the power to push through a large softbox or bounce off a ceiling. If you shoot interviews, weddings or corporate films and need one dependable key light, this is the kind of fixture that does the job day after day.

What it does well

• Bi-colour range: 2,700K to 6,500K, so it matches tungsten practicals indoors and daylight from a window.
• Colour accuracy: average CRI 96 and TLCI 98, with TM-30 Rf 95 and Rg 101.
• Fine dimming: 0–100% in 0.1% steps, for smooth fades on camera.
• 12 built-in effects including storm, TV, paparazzi, candle/fire and welding.
• Control your way: on-board controls and screen, the NANLINK app over Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and DMX/RDM through a locking port.
• Bowens mount with an integrated umbrella holder.

Where it fits

Put it behind a large octa or lantern as an interview key, use it to recreate window light on a set, or bounce it for soft ambient fill at a wedding venue.
